New member of the Fischer Supervisory Board

Fischer Information Technology, provider of software solutions to accelerate the digital transformation in IT projects and technical writing, has gained a new member of the Supervisory Board. With immediate effect, Dr. Stefan Sigg joins the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board Prof. Sissi Closs and her deputy Dr. Thomas Trümper. He succeeds Dr. Walter Fischer, the late founder of Fischer Information Technology AG.

Dr. Sigg, who holds a doctorate in mathematics, will use his expertise in the software industry to provide support in the areas of analytics, big data technologies and applications. Sigg started his professional career in product development at SAP SE. After various management positions, he took over the development management of the products SAP Business Warehouse and later SAP HANA. Most recently, he was responsible for the entire product portfolio in the area of SAP Analytics. 

For the past four years, Sigg has been Chief Product Officer and a member of the Executive Board of Software AG and is responsible for the product portfolio, global support, cloud operations and research & development. Since 2019, Dr. Sigg has also been on the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
